The Story

And I'm pretty unhappy about it, so excuse the terse tone: The baby has not dropped, engaged in the pelvis, etc, etc. I am not dialating, effacing, or progressing. I am currently scheduled for induction on the 30th, with a 70% chance of C-section due to the very "generous" size of the baby.
If you live in Little Rock and don't mind a grump, I am DESPERATE for something to do to keep me occupied during the coming VERY LONG WEEK.

My sentiments. . . when you're done, you're just D-O-N-E done! You can always call Cousin Kat for the nastiest shake recipe that has put 15/16 women into labor (that one that didn't work is because she 1/2'ed that caster oil.) It really is the worst ever, but it works.

we're always available for playing! what are you up for? we can go for a long walk on the river tomorrow (tues) if you want cos it's my cross training day. let me know. oh ya, and don't be too discouraged cos all that random stuff they measure means nothing. the baby decides it's ready to come and then the body does it all at once. that's why i didn't want them to measure any of that for me.

If I was around it would be Steel Magnolias and Jell-o popcorn all the way!

I know you don't know me really. But I worked with Rob in ENT. I just had my second baby-5 months, second Csection. I would love to help you in anyway, even if it's just an ear for listening. You've been in my prayers

Knowing you are going to have a c-section is a lot better than having it be a surprise. If I could have a do-over, I would see if the baby would come on it's own and not induce. (That lead to surprise c-section). It was nice being prepared for #2 c-section thanks to large baby and nothing happening downstairs, but that would have been nice to wait to see what could have happened, but really, I don't deal well with pain, and the drugs they give you for the section are great! Good luck! Remember that every day your baby is still in the oven is one day you don't have to change diapers yet!
