Choosy Moms Choose.... ?

The Great Stroller Debate continues to occupy our evening conversations; and since Rob and I both really are clueless (having never really USED strollers-- at least not since we were the ones riding in them), we need some advice from moms(and dads!) who KNOW.

The Question:
To purchase a travel set, or simply select the daily-use stroller we like best (and give the Fist of Fury to anyone who snickers at our lack of coordinating colors)?

I'm anxiously awaiting your input.

I would have to vote for two, the stroller and the camera. Gliders are a great idea too, though I think you could go find a really great vintage rocker at an antique store and have it recovered for a nominal amount.

Who cares about a diaper bag...I mean really I went through a phase of having the latest and greatest and the biggest benefits are others ohhing and ahhing, oh and resale on ebay. hmmmm, they have really great Skip Hop diaper bags at Target that are fab, affordable, and have a great rep.!

Oh the dilemmas of the new baby.

I think this might be the longest comment I've ever left:)

I did tons of research on strollers and I found that it just depends on how much you're going to be out and about. We have the Quinny Zapp stroller and the Maxi-cosi car seat and I love love it. The car seat snaps into the stroller frame so whenever I went to the mall or grocery store and he was already asleep in his car seat, I just popped him into the stroller and he stayed sleeping. Also, for evening walks it's so easy and lightweight and convenient. Most travel systems (i.e. graco) are big and cumbersome and not at all convenient, so unless you go w a european brand, I wouldn't recommend buying one of the biggies...

oh ya. and for a great diaper bag, just go on ebay. and maybe you'll use the rocking chair more than i do, but charlie never really liked it. he preferred (and still does) to be bounced. and most likely since you're doing a lot of running too, your baby will too. it'll be what he's used to. u know?

my comment is about the tarantula part of your last post: I am shocked by that! Was it in your house? I might have died if i were you.
In San Antonio i was Terrified of Scorpions, but Tarantulas are a whole new level.
And you look really cute in the skanky top!

Meh, Diaper Bags are not all that different. You can use just about anything.

As for your Matching set query, I really like having ours, because the carseat goes right into the stroller. This makes it very easy to let sleeping kids lie. However, the Stroller we have would not hold up to the rigors you expect to put yours through.

I'm all about the travel set!!!! Especially when the baby is still little!
It doesn't hurt to have a little umbrella stroller on hand ($12 from wal-mart)
