So these pictures are a week old, but no less cool for that (we have no scanner, and so have to very cleverly find a chance to use the ones at Rob's hospital-- that type of conniving can take time). We got see the baby kicking his/her legs and sucking on his/her thumb. Too cool.

It is to actually see the little parasite growing inside of you changing from parasite, to alien, and then finally to a real live lttle baby. I only got to see Maya once on the ultrasound machine but it was really fun. Enjoy the pregnancy, before you know it you will be taking home the special little one.
I'm going to guess boy...once you find out the sex the pregnancy gets a little more exciting! Ya'll are in our prayers!

Holy crap! So, "my wife is having a baby" is a way better excuse for not going mt biking than what Rob told me last sunday! Congratulations! that's so exciting!
Oh my goodness. That is awesome, isn't it? We are thrilled for you both. Maybe our little ones will be close little cousins (well, 2nd cousins, once removed).
